Editorial Intern

Job Description
- Need to put in 5 hours per week for 3 months
- Assist Editor-in-chief, provide new ideas to the magazine content
- Edit articles submitted and provide feedback to children journalists
- Communicate with magazine journalists, photographers and free lance writers
- Research for sponsorship for writing contests and guest speakers
- Assist with marketing materials, website updates

Requirements

- Highly organized, detail-oriented, communicative and multi-tasking management skills.
- Excellent ability to set priorities and meet time deadlines.
- Superb written and verbal communication skills.
- Self-starter and creative problem-solver.
- Proficient with computers, including spreadsheet programs and accounting processes.

Job Description

- Produce illustrations following graphic designer's instructions for the magazine
- Put in about 10 hours per week during production month 

Requirements
- Be enrolled in secondary education in Illustration, Animations, or Graphic Design
- Meet strict deadlines
- Creative
- Srong communication skills


Benefits: 
All illustrator's drawings will be credited in the magazine, you may also have the opportunity to be selected to do the cover illustration.
