Kids should be able to write what they want to write. Writing a good narrative story can seem hard for young kids. Sometimes, writing is not just about grammar and spellings. Giving kids a motivation to write is also very important. Our experienced writing instructor will have your kids start writing paragraphs of stories in no time.

Meet our Instructor: Farah Quraishi
Farah is a certified CELTA, ESL teacher and she taught children's ESL (English as Second Language) class in England. Farah was also a broadcast journalism professional with winning documentaries. From Farah: Teaching the children was quite an experience and encouraged me to continue teaching and passing on my knowledge to the next generation. But my curiosity in Journalism took me on a life-changing journey. I graduated in Journalism Broadcast from Sheridan College in 2014. While at the college I was an Assistant Producer and Director for our weekly news show. I enjoyed the fast paced environment of the newsroom, the creativity of news writing, and exhilarating experience of documentary making. I think learning how to cover and present news gives us a different understanding to see the world, people, and cultures. I enjoy working with children. I think as much as we as adults teach children about the ways of life, children teach us about the different perspectives of life. |
