August 14, 2012, Voice K's little journalist camp was filled with excitement; we were expecting CBC news to visit us. However, the CBC could not come, the children strongly requested Voice K to film their feelings and they wanted to let CBC know. So we are posting this because we thought their request is very cute. This video also shows  the role of social media in today's children's lives.

Free Ads Contest for Canadian organizations and stores

Voice K is offering free advertisement spaces to our partners and friends for our upcoming fall 2012 issue. In exchange, we are looking for proposals of how you can promote Voice K at your store or organization.



 Your proposal can be as simple as 

• distribute Voice K magazine to your clients, 
• encourage children at your organization to submit writing to Voice K, 
• put up a Voice K poster in your store, 
• offer two free tickets or products to Voice K journalists…
  

Spaces are limited. Deadline is Saturday, Aug 18th, 2012. Results are given Sunday, Aug 19th, 2012

1 Second prize: 1/2 vertical or ½ horizontal (3.60” X 9.875” or 7.375” X 4.85”)
